Am I the only one who gets sick of the biased mainstream media?

I thought that the national media owes the viewing public the facts of any news story or situation they are suppose to be covering. Did I ask for their opinion? No. But they sure give it to me and it rarely lines up with my own opinion. I want the news that has been investigated objectively and then have the anchor shoot it to me straight. Let me decide on what my perceptions of the facts are. I understand that most printed news historically has provided the current news and then behind that they have an op-ed page listing all the different viewpoints and opinions from the spin doctors. That is fine. That adds flavor and thought provoking ideas for me to consider however, now all I get from the national mainstream TV news outlets are opinion based propaganda of current politics and current news that fits the liberal agenda chosen to indoctrinate me with.

  Slick suits or pretty smiles with long legs deliver the news with a condescending tone telling me how I should believe and follow the doctrine of political correctness. The President himself utilizing CBS news from within the white house to force feed the viewers with his health-care bill pitch. Every night, hour by hour it is a constant barrage of liberal brainwashing pouring forth from the tube. It appears that I’m not the only one sick of it because there are so many cable news outlets that cater to the conservative viewpoint of politics. Ratings are showing that these alternatives to the mainstream news are pulling in far better ratings. But I must admit that I also wonder about the accuracy of the conservative outlets also. Although, I am pretty much convinced that the latter out performs in the category of   objectivity than the former.

  I also wonder why the duty to report is often neglected by both the liberal and conservative news agencies. Take for instance the A.C.O.R.N. scandal of voting fraud during the last presidential election combined with all the other forms of corruption behind this non-profit taxpayer funded organization. It simply took two very young filmmakers and a camera to take down the taxpayer funded organization of thieves. Where were the major news organizations? Were they told to turn a blind eye to this enormous scandal? Or did they simply choose to ignore it for political expediency and better access opportunities on less challenging stories to pursue. 

  Shame on all of them!

The following is the journalist creed. Maybe all the news outlets should follow this creed and report the news fair and accurately.

Recently, I went through a horrible family crisis. One which could have been entirely avoided which left me with no one to blame but myself. The crises not only affected me but my family and several other innocent people.


As word quickly spread about like a grass fire of the situation we were going through many friends came to our support. It was very encouraging to have such friends give sincere uplifting wishes to us all. We all took it to heart as we needed encouragement at the moment of our despair.


However, I began receiving e-mail from one particular friend who was relatively new to our family. This friend came about our situation through another family member of hers who is also a friend of ours. One of my family members shared, in confidence, particulars of information that was relative to the big picture of our problem. She shared that information with her family member who felt the need to send me the e-mails which were filled with judgmental tones and indications that she had suffered the same problems in her past by another family member, yet she continued to give me unwelcomed advice, this advice from someone who barely knew me and had little understanding of the problem.


I responded with a reply of my own to inform this person that she was not aware of all the details involved and that she should not be judgmental of me in the first place due to the fact that her advice was not requested. This person responded by sending further emails that were clear attacks against me and several areas of my life and personal business including my job. Again I replied but this time I made it clear that it was entirely none of her business and I didn’t appreciate her nosing in on it.


Again the unwanted emails came in a flurry and grew stronger in language and references to the bible based on her belief and she suggested that I read my bible. At this time I became furious and wrote this persons family member to request that she tell her to leave me along in an attempt to keep the friend relationships from being damaged. This request went unanswered to me and I became even angrier due to this person being the one to speak of things told to her in confidence to someone who is clearly a speakeasy and gossip.


My family member sent messages to those who were involved in these attacks on me to point out that those who were attacking me seem to believe they are perfect and without blame in their own lives. She did this in a manner without using their identity. Needless to say this ignited more and more hurtful communications to the point that not only were the friendships damaged, but damaged beyond repair.


This whole ordeal with these “friends” left me bewildered and in constant thought of what would possess someone to attack an acquaintance and his family they barely knew during that family’s serious crisis. My thoughts were that this particular person was mentally unstable. I could think of no other reason until I was reminded of a leadership class I attended in which the subject of confrontations was discussed. I read a quote from the material written by John C. Maxwell which read,


“Hurting people hurt people and are easily hurt by them”.


This made perfect sense to me because this person hurting me with her words of condemnation made me believe that maybe she was still hurting from her bad experience with a family member in her past. Was she merely lashing out at me with anger as if I was the one who hurt her? Did she feel the need to cause me pain so strongly that she was willing to destroy friendships over something that was absolutely none of her concern or business to do so? Or was she simply crazy and off of her meds?


I choose to believe the former because it is more comforting and easier to understand than simply someone targeting me for evil words during a very hard time in my family’s life. I only wish that I had remembered the John C. Maxwell quote early enough to prevent the friendships from ending.


We all have pain that lays dormant deep inside of us that has never had time to heal. And once something breaks open that old wound the pain becomes fresh and as painful as ever. I hope these people that have chosen to kick me while I was down simply did so to ease their own suffering. If so I wish for them to get the help they need to heal.


As for me and my family we will continue to seek healing of our own and learn from this experience that hurting people hurt people and are easily hurt by them. Understanding that many people are in pain is a very good start.

It seems that our President and his “A-Team” the stardust sprinkling First Lady and Oprah traveling to Copenhagen to win the bid for the City of Chicago would be an eye opener for the celebrated crew that the world beyond CNN clearly sees through all the media pumped glamour that has long passed overkill in the United States. But I seriously doubt it.

          What has taken place by this administration in Copenhagen is nothing less than a complete failure for the President at a time when his attention is desperately needed in more urgent matters such as the requested troop build up in Afghanistan that his General states is desperately needed to win the war there. Or maybe his attention should be keenly focused on unemployment in the United States reaching a new high of 9.8 %, the highest in 30 years. In September there were 263,000 jobs lost and the 787 billion dollar stimulus package, another massive failure by the president, has done nothing to help the economy recover. Obviously, to me the economy would be much farther ahead if the stimulus package was divided among taxpayers and pumped into the real economy instead of being used to pay off his purchase of the presidency. Maybe instead of flying to Copenhagen the “A-Team” should have instead went back to Chicago to figure out how to stop the deadly violence in the Chicago city school district.

          The fact that this administrations failure is embarrassing enough to the United States that after President Obama begged for the games to be held in Chicago is overshadowed by the ultimate humiliation that this president continues to travel to foreign lands to put our country down.

 “We’ve got everyone. This could be a meeting in Chicago, because we look like the world. Over the last several years sometimes that fundamental truth about the United States has been lost,” he said.

“One of the legacies of this Olympic Games would be the restoration of that understanding of what the United States is all about and recognition of how we are linked to the world.” Obama.

Who the hell does he think he is to tell anyone over there the fundamental truth about the United States has been lost over the last several years? Excuse me? But the fundamental truth about the United States and its constitution has been lost since your election! Does he really think anyone at that Olympic committee actually cares about diversity? They are not governed by the religion and practices of political correctness. They know a phony when they see one. And it showed when after they’re groveling, when the United States was eliminated in the very first round. What a joke the rest of the world must think of our leader! And we are depending on him to negotiate terms with Iran? And we are to trust his health care plan he is pushing when he cannot even compete for a spectator sporting event?

But in the end this president will brush off this failure as nothing and his cronies will cry hatred against his political party, but sadly, we are stuck with this Hollywood celebrity in the oval office for the next 3 years.

Imagine Hitler today? How many Americans would be in denial of his evil intent? How many Americans would be ready to send our soldiers to stop him?

The attack on Pearl Harbor? America became enraged and gladly sent their sons to fight the evil Japanese and German Axis of evil. 2,335 US personnel dead, 68 civilians dead from the surprise attack. A country united to avenge their loss and protect their soil from further attacks.

Did Americans lose heart when reports of mass casualties came in from wire reports? Did Americans cry and lament the death of American soldiers being too costly a price to pay for their nations security? Did the politicians divide and play political chess over the needs of boosting troops for a more promising outcome in battle? Did politicians beg defeat and retreat when times were bad during combat? Did civilians protest the war as unjust? Did politicians spend billions of dollars on bail outs and whine about the cost of war to protect our home land and other nations? Did the mothers of sacrificed soldiers march and protest the war in which their son laid down his life for his country? Did the American press tally each American killed in action as too costly and wasteful of our country? Did our press sympathize with the enemy and show their despair?

On June 6th, 1944 the United States along with the United Kingdom and Canada stormed the beaches of Normandy, France in what is known as the D-day Invasion. Of those troops, 29,000 American soldiers were killed, 11,000 British soldiers were killed, 5,000 Canadian soldiers were killed. 12,200 French Civilians were killed or missing. America and their Allied troops won the biggest battle against Germany. A battle Germany would not recover from.

Did the politicians clamor that they could not stomach anymore loss?

Did the citizens demand our soldiers be brought home before the end of the war?

Why now have Americans become so French like, so weak in their resolve to defend our lands from a sworn enemy who considers Americans to be Infidels? " Unbelievers"

Why has this generation of people turned their back on threats and outright attacks against their own American people?

Why are there more and more Americans embracing the protest movements and politicians seeking approval from the far left wing fringe than the soldiers who fight courageously to defend us all?

Why does the National American Press constantly sympathize with the enemy, and embrace politicians who do the same

Why does the Democrat party have no backbone in supporting this war when 3/4 of congress agreed to it?

Why will the president not send more troops to Afghanistan as his own General desperate requests?

How will we ever win a war if all we will do is cut and run when things go slowly or we reach 3,000 +soldier deaths?

Who will defend the citizens of the United States of America from our enemy if our soldiers are not allowed to?

How long after we tuck our tails and run like the Democrats want us to before the terrorist start bombing our own local grocery stores and hospitals?

How long until the War on Terror is being fought in our own backyards?

From Strength to Weakness

While our President, Barrack Superstar Obama entertains millions of his fans on such TV programs as David letterman and the like, our long held world reputation of strength and power is crumbling away like an old cookie. President Obama has toured the world making apologies for just about anything conceivable about the United States of America. Never mind that most countries have greatly benefitted from the actions of America, the constant financial support and most of all the bloodshed of our sons that allowed so many to have freedom or at the least the ability to govern their own country. Obama apologies to the countries and their leaders have done nothing but weaken our strength in the eyes of our enemies.
Iran test fired long range missiles Monday, flexing its muscle to show the world that they can crush any countries military threat to them if need be. The missiles are capable of carrying a warhead which could strike Israel, United States military bases throughout the Middle East, and parts of Europe.

U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton says she “doesn’t believe Iran can convince the U.S. and other world powers at the upcoming meetings that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes, as Tehran has long claimed” Well duh. Do you really think so Hillary? Hillary added, “That puts Tehran on a course for tougher economic penalties beyond the current “leaky sanctions”, she said. Well shiver me timbers! I’m sure that just scares Iran to the bone. This only proves that the United Nations and all the world powers have been nothing but weak with dealing with Iran and their nuclear program. So now with Obama playing Hollywood instead of making serious headway with the many crisis’s the middle east poses to its neighbors and the world beyond, situations only worsen. It is crystal clear to our enemy that Obama as President is a weakling. I mean come on, the Muslims were gathered “segregated mind you” in Washington praying for the soul of America. How wonderful. At least some people are allowed to pray in America. Too bad we Christians are not afforded the same right. Back to the point, The wolves are gathering and Obama not only looks to be confused by all these problems, but also projects a foolhardy smugness that he can convince the madmen of the world to lay down their nuclear weapons programs at his feet through the gift of gab. He left our allies in Europe without protection, sides with the Arabs against Israel, and continues to embolden the enemy with his indecision on such huge matters.

It seems that Obama has more important matters such as promoting a green earth while missiles are being test fired, and flying to Copenhagen with his cabinet to promote Chicago for the Olympics. Exactly what is important to this President? It sure isn’t the troops in Afghanistan waiting for badly needed re-enforcements. But yes, there is still plenty of golf to be played every week. We need a President with strength to lead us during these drastic times. But it looks like all we have is Olive Oil at the helm. Well, at least we have Senator Hillary Clinton keeping an eye on things!

I was fortunate enough to be off work and try to catch up on the current events. Maybe fortunate is the wrong word choice. I was able to catch a few snippets of speeches made by our world leaders during the United Nations conference. I was intrigued to say the least at how many freaks and ghouls there are that lead nations in this world. I was not shocked but simply amazed that some countries have absolutely insane leaders. Well, lets just say what they are, Dictators!

The good:  I was very impressed by the strength of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with his very powerful speech filled with passion and truth. He called out the world leaders asking them if they had no shame, no decency in giving Iran’s leader president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad legitimacy with allowing the madman to speak after his previous threats to destroy Israel and the denial of the Holocaust. Netanyahu spoke the truth when he said the United Nations Human Rights Council was misnamed. They are incredibly biased and sit by idle while so many in the world suffer. They are such a disgrace to all mankind.

The bad: Well, this will be a short list due to time constraints.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the epitome of evil. The truth cannot be found in him and he speaks of nothing but hatred and the destruction of innocent and peaceful people. To allow this freak of nature to build weapons of mass destruction will usher in yet another world war. This man needs a smart bomb deployed at him without delay along with all facilities of weaponry in Iran. Maybe Israel will be the only country with the balls to do this!

Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez proves every time he opens his mouth that insanity is dangerous to a country when ignored. His invitation to Obama to join his league of evil dictators really scares me that someone who is clearly insane can see our president’s socialist potential better than our own citizens.

Moammar Quaddhafi (I don’t know if even he knows how to spell his name) has to be the winner of the United Nation’s Freak & Ghoul award. I have to wonder about the legitimacy of third world countries when their leader arrives outside of New York City and erects a flipping tent for crying out loud! Is this not the 21^st Century? Did his entourage arrive with camels also? Look, I think it’s time to deploy another rocket in his tent. The effects of the last one were very apparent when he gave his speech that even he did not understand. His appearance gave me the same reaction people get when they ride by a terrible car accident. Even though it is terrible to see you can’t stop yourself from looking. He looked as if he walked straight out of M. J.’s Thriller video. Could you imagine the stench he airs off while walking through a room? I’m sure all the local hotels thank Donald Trump for allowing the tent erected on his property for this Ghoul. It makes me really feel for the Libyan people. If he is the King what do the pauper’s wear?

The ugly: Our President, Barrack Hussein Obama. He brags to the world bleeders, yes bleeders, about his wonderful acts as president so far. Nobody is as star struck with Obama as Obama himself. I mean really, he just can’t get enough of himself. He states, “The ensuing era of cooperation in addressing the world’s toughest challenges also requires a new sense of responsibility on the part of all nations”. Is he being responsible letting our brave soldiers fighting in Afghanistan short of troops that are necessary for success and safety while our military leaders plead for desperately needed increases in troops there? Or maybe the boasting from the rookie about closing Guantanamo Bay which effectively returned an enemy combatant to the role of Lieutenant in the southern region of Afghanistan to once again kill our children who are fighting against terrorist. A side note to our troops! Make sure they're dead or you will fight them again! Why take prisoners if they're good friend Obama will simply send them back to the battlefield? Whose side is Obama on anyway? Oh yeah, well he warned us in his book of greatness that he would side with the Muslim’s did he not? Maybe we should believe him. Funny how he re-supplies our battlefields with our captured enemy on one hand and delays the troop build up in Afghanistan after being advised we could lose the war if he doesn’t. Maybe Obama is deciding which side to send our troops to? Please, I’m too sick to blog about how he wants to do away with nuclear weapons and trust the other countries to do the same. I just can’t stomach it right now. How incredibly weak and stupid we must look to our enemy?

I will stick with the advice of my physician and family members when I am unable to choose for myself! If I don't like or trust the old Saw Bones I can always shop for a second or third opinion. That's why I pay for medical coverage, even as expensive as it is. You expect us to let you remove 300 million insured Americans so that an extremely generous estimation of 45 million can have health care? That is insane in itself. Why not spend that energy on government programs already in place to cover those uninsured instead of destroying one of the best free market health system in the history of the world? Would that not be incredibly less expensive?


Those are only a few reasons why this bill should never even be considered


much less seriously debated. Despite what the radical liberal left wing wants to tell us, we Americans are quite competent enough to recognize a serious mistake in the form of a health care bill as proposed.


So now good ole Jimmy Carter, 2002 Nobel Peace Prize winner has taken it upon himself to divide Americans with his own hate speech all in the name of supporting Obama and his health care take over.

For one, Barrack Obama was the son of a Kansas Caucasian woman who happens to be very white. His father is of decent. Again, we Americans are intelligent enough to know that he is not but 50 percent African-American. However, the national news networks are too weak to point out this obvious fact. So why is this ignored? Jimmy Carter's opinion does not hold up against genetics but the radical liberal left fall all over themselves to point at logical thinking Americans and broadly tag them as racist for exercising their freedom of speech in peaceful protest to be heard loud and clear that they do not want this.


But No!


Freedom to redress the government and be heard is no longer one of the bill of rights according to Jimmy Carter and our national media.

Only because they don't agree with this extremely risky piece of fast paced thrown together legislation. I have to ask. If it is so crucial, what is the hurry? This will affect every American and Obama wants it passed immediately.

It appears to me the very same percentage of whites that Peanut claims as racist people. It just does not add up.

Here is another question I have.

We know Obama himself has made negative racial comments towards white Americans from his very own autobiography.


Why was this not a race issue at the time of election of the President?


What makes him so special to get a free pass? It wasn't convenient for Obama then and now it is very convenient for his supporters to throw in the race cards when all else seems to fail.

It is very clear that the number of American people who approve of Obama's job performance thus far is dropping. The more Americans see that he has out spent all other president's before him in only better than half a year’s time without any indication of controlling it, the more nervous they naturally become. Americans that work and pay taxes know that they cannot spend money they don't have without big trouble looming in the near future.


Obviously Obama does not understand this principle, nor does he care.

At what point in time did “We the people” hand over the torch of liberty to the control of the government? The Preamble to the constitution clearly reads,


“We the people” of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.


The Constitution of the United States clearly outlines in the Preamble that the citizens of this country holds the power of its government. We the people choose to elect “those” who will represent “us” according to the constitution.






Amendment I of the Constitution commonly known as “Bill of Rights” guarantees that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Yet far too often our politicians today chastise citizens or groups of people who act on their right to free speech to peacefully gather to voice their opposition to the government on its proposed policy or agenda. Just recently, Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives no less, describing a peaceful protest of President Obama’s Health Care plan stated


“These disruptions are occurring because opponents are afraid not just of differing views — but of the facts themselves. Drowning out opposing views is simply un-American”.


Excuse me, but who does she think she is to call those who disagree with her un-American? She is the Speaker of the House, We the people have the right to be heard by our government officials without being accused by them of being un-American or agitators.


Of course the national media, who should be responsible for gathering true and accurate facts on behalf of “We the People” in order for us to keep tabs on what our government is doing, has become nothing less than the governments own press to further their cause. It is truly sad that our free exercise of the press also a right guaranteed in the First Amendment has been corrupted by the spoils of government monies to the point that it makes news instead of reporting it to the people.


Again, this compels me to ask, where did we the people go wrong?

You built the greatest nation known to mankind. Perfect? No! But by far the best. You were not given the opportunity. No, your ancestors burdened by the Yoke of high taxes without representation, government controlled religion, and impossible regulations on earning a decent living drove them out of desperation to seek freedom elsewhere. They set sail to the world of the unknown and obscure uncivilized land to pursue the opportunity to live free, to worship free, to make their own way, and to die free. The colonies of America were built from sweat, blood, tears, disease, and massacre to continue to be held under bondage of taxes to England. Their trade for survival taxed and pirated on the open seas forced them yet again to make a stand. Be free from oppression or die. Even then the politicians of New England pressed to compromise freedom and be held captive to the mercy of the King of England, yet others yearned to be free and were willing to die by casting off the yoke of bondage to England. The war of 1812 proved that Americans would battle against impossible odds to win their freedom and to pursue their own dream of competing within the world's marketplace. Our forefathers not only stood up against the tyranny of England, but were willing to sacrifice all to live free without being enslaved by a governing body that only sought its own gain and power over the very people who produced the wealth.


Again, the forces of oppression and aggression within our own country raised its ugly head and brought brother against brother to arms leaving the dead of thousands upon thousands before reconstruction and eventual healing would again launch the American spirit to succeed.


Our nation, the most benevolent in the history of mankind has sent it’s young and strong as a gift to many other nations in the world wars to fight back and defeat tyranny and enslavement by evil dictators so they to could live to be free and pursue a life of happiness.


Communism, the ideology of evil to enslave a people to serve its captors was vigorously fought by our brave sons to ensure that freedom was not just for the American people, but for all of God's children in as many nations as possible.


Now we find ourselves struggling from the worst economy since the great depression. Each working family producing only to forfeit more than half their earnings in an incredibly out of balance tax structure geared for the spoils of the elite and to care for those who refuse to contribute themselves. Our politicians that we choose to represent us in congress forgets the struggle of their constituents the moment the moment they arrive in Washington and quickly become one of the elite. Taxation without representation becomes their
assignment and daily effort.


The working taxpayer is indoctrinated by the political system and is taught and led by the moral compass of political correctness. Our spirits that yearn to succeed and live by our own moral judgments are discouraged by accusations of greed, racism, and extreme religious views which offend those who do not agree.


Our once freedom of speech has been replaced with fear and reprisals in the form of black balling an individual or character assassination and public ridicule with the loss of the individuals job. Americans are unable to keep the country safe and protect its borders do to the fear of offending its very own enemy.


Our country has suffered unprecedented economic crisis due to the open border with Mexico which allows their poor to leave they're oppression to come to our country to work without tax restrictions and all other expensive regulations so they can send they're tax free earnings to they’re home country while we provide them with costly health care and other public services which leave our own poor lacking without available resources. Our border with Mexico is the gateway to


America for all other nations to send their terrorist to plot and destroy what they desire while our politicians turn their head as the taxpayer struggles with their burdens and fears.


We silly Americans allow our politicians and elected officials to boldly strip away our constitutional rights, take over private industry and banking institutions that cripple the common man in his potential to make his own way. We allow our government to hide behind an unscientific principle or theory of environmental scare tactics so they can use it to burden large companies in order to regulate, tax, and fine them.


We silly Americans allow our government to even suggest that they should interfere with our world leading available medical care so that they can remove our freedom of choice from our health care in order to rob us of more tax money while they in turn give us less quality care and have control over our major medical options when need be.


We Americans sit back comfortably as our elected officials strip us of our constitutional rights and give them to our enemy combatants that killed our children during war and allow them to be turned loose on American streets with full constitutional rights and passage.


We silly Americans allow our government to regulate our right to bear arms so that one day soon they will seperate them from us so that we cannot ensure that our government will not enslave us.


We silly Americans sit back on our lazy behinds and become carelessly idle as our government continues to allow large scale voting fraud and practices to continue to strip us of our power to choose our own leader, furthermore the government continues to try to make voting legal for illegal aliens and felonious criminals.


We silly Americans sit back and let our politicians accuse us of being un-American when we do not agree with their elitist goals for our future.


We silly Americans do nothing during our toughest economic challenges while our president effects the largest payoff for his presidency in the history of politics with our hard earned tax dollars to union thugs and numerous social agenda's that do nothing to profit the economic situation. And they title this act of theft and payoff a “Stimulus Package” to rub it in the nose of the American Taxpayer.

How much longer will we be silly Americans and just give up all that was paid for through centuries of spilled American blood?

A Health Care Scenario Under Obama

Is any one reading Obama's Healthcare plan the Dems are falling all over themselves to push into law? I especially love the "End of life planing, counseling, and method options" that's right, you old and useless to society. You've lived your life and now your just a burden. But our great government will help you decide how and when to end your pathetic life. No, it isn't suicide or genicide, it is healthcare. Don't want to die and relieve us all of your financial burden. Okay! To the back of the line maam. Off you go. We will get to you when we can. Excuse me maam, we realize your in pain and in need of an operation, but we have 214 illegal aliens to treat before you, further to the rear of the line maam. Excuse me maam? The fact that you have paid taxes all your working life has been subtracted from the fact that you were a cigarette smoker for a number of years and therefore responsible for untold numbers of victims to secondhand smoke health issues. You maam, are a part of the problem, not the solution to our grave healthcare problem. Please reconsider our End of Life planing option. Besides, it is free and someone can see you immediately or go take your place at the end of the line. Thank you! Maam, I am sorry you are in pain and cannot get a refill of your medications without seeing the doctor first. It isn't our problem that your a baby boomer and have lived your life in luxury only to waste resources before today when you need them. Besides, there are so many younger patients who could use the medications rations and still benefit society. Well maam, it may not be right but it's the law! I'm becoming very impatient with you and your self righteous tone. Shall I report you to the White House for speaking ill about the peoples health care? That's right! No go on to the back of the line, go home, or go to the door to the left and receive your end of life counseling. Really maan, if I were you I would. NEXT please!

Yes, a lot of my own creative imagination here but read the plan yourself. Maybe you will see how the above scenario could someday be a reality if this plan is put into effect.

It has been way too long since i have wrote any blogs and now is the time that I need to occupy myself with other things to get out of the same old routine of daily life, or in my case nightly life.

 I have thought about a daily journal, political blog, local history, and current news. I have decided to just do it all here. It will be like my own mind Scatter-brained, but it will eliminate posting to different sites.

Coach Nick Saban, A Legend Created By Desperate Tide Fans!

I'm sure you, like most of us, have seen the movie Forrest Gump. One scene from that movie shows young Forrest playing football at Alabama for the legendary Bear Bryant. You may have also heard references to the "Crimson Tide" in old 70's songs, and so forth, but most people do not understand the importance of college football in the South—in the old south in particular. Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida take this love or fascination with college football to a higher level, but in the heart of that region, the state of Alabama is capital of college football. Within the borders of this state are two universities that have the highest importance to college football: The University of Alabama and Auburn University. The fans of these two teams equate there respective university to that of religious institutions. Before you laugh, or dare to say that I exaggerate the truth, let me assure you that people have lost their lives in incidents where anger and rage between fans of these two schools boiled over into bloody fights and outright assaults. There have even been documented divorces as the result of mixed marriages. By mixed marriage I mean a married couple who’re fans of opposite teams. Men and women have also lost jobs, due to being too vocal about how bad their team beat the other. Similar incidents became such a common problem that both schools ended the tradition of playing each other in the sport of football! The two schools met and physically buried a hatchet to vow to end the hatred. Alabama and Auburn did not play each other in football for more than 40 years until it was again scheduled in the 1940s. From the 1940s through to the 1970s, the University of Alabama had more success with more big name players going on to the professional ranks, and during this time, Alabama has accumulated most of its 12 National Championship titles. Alabama also holds the college football record for the most Bowl appearances and wins. Auburn, on the other hand, had one National Championship in 1957 and 2 Heisman Trophy winners, Pat Sullivan and Vincent "Bo" Jackson. Not quite as successful as Alabama, but always a threat on the field each season. One fact that has transcended the love and appreciation of Alabama football into something that closely resembles Idol Worship, or outright religion, to the Alabama Fan is the arrival of Coach Paul W. "Bear Bryant."—The University of Alabama in physical and human form. This brings us to the development or transformation of the Alabama fan. The success and tradition of this man is, without a doubt, the cornerstone of what we now know as the "Alabama Fan." From 1958 through 1981 Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant not only ruled the University of Alabama, but was more powerful than Governor George C. Wallace, himself, within the state of Alabama. Now that you get the point of a quickly painted picture—a sketch, if you will—of Alabama/Auburn football history, I believe I can show you why Coach Nick Saban is being treated as if he has a coaching record like Jimmy Johnson or Joe Pa. Since the passing of the greatest Alabama hero, Alabama has had various troubles trying to fill the shoes of Bear Bryant. In a nut shell, that has been the downfall of Alabama football. They have been trying to find the reincarnate equivalent of Bear Bryant without accepting the fact that he is dead. Without going through all the boring history of these failed Bear Bryant replacements, I will say that the closest they have come to the Bear was when Coach Gene Stallings brought home the 12th National Championship title in 1992. Since then it has been one disaster after the other. Enter Coach Nick Saban. Alabama fans can be suckered in by apparent success while searching for a coach. During this latest episode they tried their best to woo Coach Steve Spurrior away from the University of South Carolina. After they realized Spurrior was nobody's dummy, they moved on to Saban and then West Virginia's Coach Rodriguez. After Coach Rodriguez turned Bama down for the job Alabama AD Mal Moore held a press conference to announce that he would only hire a proven winner for the head coach position. That meant they could only hire someone who had previously won some type of championship in football. Finally, after weeks of embarrassment, the job was taken by Coach Nick Saban, who gladly took the money and ran after he realized his time was short at the end of the Miami Dolphins season. The price tag for Coach Nick Saban? Try 32 Million Dollars. Is that not desperate? Is that not the biggest gamble on a "Proven Winner" Coach with a 91-42-1 record that boasts a shared 2003 National Championship at LSU? LSU had a strength of schedule ranking of 29 that year. If you can understand this, you may be able to understand all the fuss over Coach Nick Saban. The cross state rival of Alabama, Auburn University, has been on the rise since the arrival of Coach Pat Dye, Bo Jackson, and other very talented people. Auburn continued to grow over the years and now Coach Tommy Tuberville "The Riverboat Gambler" has built a strong Auburn Tiger football team that has dominated the Alabama Crimson Tide. Currently the Auburn Tigers hold a 5 year win streak over Alabama with win number 6 on the horizon—a streak Auburn has never before been able to accomplish. The Alabama fan, like never before, has been in a panic-driven state of mind that resulted in the firing of their head coach, Mike Shula, who was once their very own Quarterback. Coach Shula suffered the "Fear the Thumb" 5th loss to Auburn that was too much for even the Alabama trustee's to stomach. They fired Coach Shula one year after a 10 win season and contract extension raise to satisfy the blood lust of the out of control and impatient Tide Fan. I hope you can now understand why such a build up over Coach Nick Saban has occurred, and how desperation at the University of Alabama could create a legend before his time in Coach Nick Saban. Imagine the luck of being in the right place, at the right time, during the right set of circumstances such as Coach Saban and walk away with a cool 32 Million? Wow!

Finebaum loses stock- Coach Nick Saban

Paul Finebaum has completely lost his objectivity while under the Saban Spell that has quickly consumed the Tide Nation. He boldly, if not arrogantly announces the best Alabama Head Football Coach since the Paul Bear Bryant days. It is very hard for me to believe any average Joe Six-pack sports fan would make such a wild prediction, least of all Paul Finebaum. Has he forgotten Coach Gene Stallings? Has he forgotten the National Championship Gene Stallings brought to the University of Alabama? Paul Finebaum has also bought into the notion that Coach Nick Saban will indeed provide the Tide Nation with it's 13th National Title within the incredible window of time of only 4 years. That is a fantastic prediction. That my friends is a bold sign of faith that Paul Finebaum really believes that Coach Nick Saban, and the Alabama Crimson Tide will be the perfect match. Therefore, all Alabama needs is Coach Nick Saban, and all Coach Nick Saban needs is the University of Alabama.How arrogant!Coach Nick Saban has a NCAA career record of 91-42-11 hotly argued share of the 2003 National Championship.WOWScoot over Paul Bear Bryant, Joe Pa, Bobby Bowdon, Steve Spurrior, and Eddie Robinson, Coach Nick Saban was all Alabama needed!

I could see the excitement reach a fever pitch as it has with Paul Finebaum and the drunk Tide girl that draped Saban and was later arrested for DUI if Bama had landed Coach Steve Spurrior, but Nick Saban? This is a Coach who did a great job at LSU, a One Major University State filled with talent and very little recruitment competition. Also Saban inherited a talent rich team recruited by Coach Gerry Dinardo. He hardly started from scratch.

And all it cost was 30 + Million dollars and defaulting on a previous contract with a Coach that really loved Alabama and was there when Alabama needed him the most. But all is fair in a contract buy out.

Paul Finebaum has really set the bar high for Coach Nick Saban, but even more interesting than that is that Finebaum has set the bar extremely high for his own credibility.

I knew Paul Finebaum was a big fan of the University of Alabama, but I was shocked that he would so quickly lose all objectivity. We all heard his 11-2 Auburn Who? Comments, and other ridiculous and disrespectful comments on other teams and coaches. I could chalk it up to a lashing out in frustration, a sense of desperation while being totally dominated and drowned by the success of the cross state rival in Auburn University, which Paul so fondly refers to as the "Red Headed Step Child University."

I can imagine in this same way of reasoning that Paul Finebaum and his Hallelujah Saban Quartet must be fantasizing about the other SEC coaches like Tubberville, Fullmer, Spurrior, Nutt, Meyer, Richt and Miles calling a meeting to throw in the towel since Alabama now has the incredible Coach Nick Saban. Yes, Mr. Finebaum I'm sure that they are!

Of all the people who have commented on this latest Alabama Head coach hiring, I believe former Alabama Quarterback Andrew Zow was the most objective and used a heaping amount of common sense when he made his comment that the Tide will improve with Saban as the coach, but he did not go overboard with his opinion or predictions. When asked if Auburn or Tubberville should be shaken that Nick Saban is now the Alabama Coach, Zow stated, "Not at all! I don't think they would be shaken at all, they are a winning program, they are proven. They know what they need to do to keep their program going. Alabama on the other hand is still building their program back up to where it needs to be. Tubberville on the other hand has been winning, beating Alabama the past 5 years."Now I believe Andrew Zow is being objective, not trying to belittle anyone's program but instead looking at the facts and trying to make logical predictions based on that.

What surprises me the most is the total blind faith of Paul Finebuam, and the Tide hopeful. What are they seeing that the rest of the country fails to see? Did they not see how Coach Saban acted as he met the fans at the airport? Or at the press conference? I did not see excitement at all. I saw a man that looked like he was ready to cash his check in a bank line.

Do you all actually believes he gives a rip about Alabama other than the ridiculous lottery score they are providing him with?

There is no way you can escape hearing that the American death toll has reached 3,000. The news media has held their breath long enough for the number to reach 3,000 and now they are reminding everyone how many soldiers we have lost in the Iraq war. Congressmen grimace as they shake their heads in blame. Senators scramble to be the first to proclaim that America is losing the Iraq war. Protesters light candles and wear armbands to show their support of withdrawing our troops, and casting blame on the president for ever daring to protect the citizens from terrorist attacks on our own soil.

It must be devastating to the families of soldiers killed in the line of duty. Giving everything they had in the greatest of sacrifices. This selfless act demands the respect of all Americans. Every single soldier lost on the battlefield is a sacrifice in the name of freedom. Freedom is not cheap; it is paid for with the blood of our fallen.

All we ever hear from the media is how horrible the war is going. How we are losing this war, how we should have never invaded Iraq. How much we underestimated such a vicious enemy.

The media has acted for the benefit of our enemy as a propaganda machine doing everything in its power to make the American people believe we are losing this war. The national media market has portrayed the American soldier as a barbaric thug, killing innocent Iraqi citizens in an illegal war designed to profit from the regions oil supplies.

The media wants you to believe we are losing this war, crunching numbers to highlight all the negative realities of war, without showing any positive influences we have had during this war.

42,116 people were killed in traffic accidents in 2001. That’s 114 a day!

The common Flu kills 20,000 people a year in the United States!

15,517 people are murdered on average in the United States each year!!!!!

17, 229 people die from falls each year!

3,306 people drown by accident in the United States each year!!!!

3,369 people die from smoke, flame, or fire in the United States each year!

19,457 people die from accidental poisoning “drugs” in the U.S. each year!!

2, 855 people die from complications of surgery and medical treatment each year!

The Media wants you to believe that 3,000 American soldiers dying in a war is much too costly, and not worth fighting terrorism over.

I heard Geraldo say on his show the other night that “Now is not the time” for Bush to bring up the ban on Gay Marriages, stating that the war in Iraq and high gas prices were two examples of why this is not the right time to bring up such a divisive issue. Geraldo stated, “I just don’t buy it” meaning this is nothing more than an attempt of Bush trying to shore up his support base before the elections.

I must ask Geraldo, just when is the time to bring up this issue? To me it is insane to start with; I can not believe this qualified to be a debate. I know, I know, go ahead and call me silly little names such as homophobe, right wing nut, Bible thumper, separatist, prejudice or any other tag you wish to place on me because I disagree with the sanctity of marriage be all inclusive instead of the traditional vows to God between a man and a woman.

You believe I should not have a right to voice my opposition to Gay Marriages. Well guess what? I do! That is my God given right as an American born citizen, and by God I stand on that right.

I am so sick of every television I turn on, every newspaper I pick up to read, every movie I go see, and every talk show I listen to telling me how gay people have rights and I should be ashamed of myself for not supporting their rights. It is a constant bombardment of homosexual propaganda being both spoon fed and shoved down my throat. Your attempts to brainwash me have no effect but to strengthen my resolve to voice my own opinion of my belief on the subject.

Get out of my face! I have my own belief system as you do yours.

Want to know what it is? I thought you did or else you wouldn’t still be reading this, so here it goes!

I believe the Bible to be the Holy Spirit inspired word of God. To me that means it is God’s instruction book to mankind on how to act and believe properly. Also included is how to not act. No, I am not going to preach to you. I am simply stating that the Bible is the Constitution (for lack of an easier word to understand) that I regard as the foundation of my belief system. Why? Because it has never been proven wrong in thousands of years and it is still continuing to prove correct all the time with the new findings of evidence. Find me another book completely accurate such as the Bible and we can debate it. But for now I will move on with my point.

God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. The only way to procreate is with a Man and a Woman. Two men can not breed; two women can not breed together. Simple, there is no reason for a man and a man or a woman and a woman to marry. The reason I believe gay’s desire to be allowed to legally marry is to create a sense of acceptance from all others.

Most important to me is this, where will this end should gay marriage be allowed under law? What next? A man and a Goat should be allowed to marry? A woman should be allowed to marry a Donkey?

You say but they love each other, they can not help their sexual orientation, they were born that way! Okay, then who is to stop a man who is sexually orientated towards small children from marrying one? He or She can give the same reasons for marriage if a legal precedent is set in law for gay marriage.

You see my point is this. It dissolves the sanctity of marriage. If this is allowed marriage will mean nothing anymore, it will become a ritual equal to a circus sideshow. And if it is made into law there will be nothing to stop it from becoming anything less than a circus sideshow.

Personally, gay people or people who are gay do not bother me. I could not care less what anyone else does behind closed doors with their friends of choice as long as it is legal and consenting, and it does not involve children. Really, I do not care. I do not look at them mean, roll my eyes at them or make any comment to them about my belief unless they want to know. Nor do I judge them to hell or look down on them. I know many gay people and I treat them as anyone else. If you want to be gay, be gay, but do not try to shove your sexual orientation down my throat or try to change my mind and heart to fit your own sexual desires. I do not do you that way, so show some respect and afford me the same courtesy.

I can not believe that in this day and time that the Brokeback Senate could not stand up and vote for the ban on gay marriage out of fear of being labeled insensitive or homophobe. Those who could not vote for the ban who are not gay themselves are weak spineless souls that will trade off every American Tradition out of fear of losing their public office. What a complete disgrace to all the founders of the United States Constitution, all the great forefathers of this great nation. Surely they roll over in their graves in pure disgust!

For those that are left with some backbone I stand and applaud you!

Let the people of this great nation decide for ourselves whether we want to ban gay marriage or not. I sure do not want this Senate to believe for one minute I allow them to think for me!
